Pearland Community Gardens is a project organized by local residents and supported by the Vic Coppinger YMCA in Pearland and the Pearland Parks and Recreation Department. The projects goal is to bulid donation, allotment, eduacational, and handicapped accesible gardens.
Volunteers from the community join together the 1st Saturday of every month at 3PM @ 3205 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006 to put together brown bag lunches with non-perishable food and drink items that have been donated over the previous month. Homeless youth and young adults are welcome to come to our distribution location at 4PM for free food and other goodies, special guest services from the community, resource referrals, all while enjoying some conversation with our volunteers.
